Henderson, NV (May 2, 2019) – Sources have reported that a crash has taken place at Boulder Highway and Sunset Rd. The number of cars involved in the accident has not been released.
Reports have confirmed that the crash happened on Friday, April 13th. The accident happened in the early evening hours. The exact time of the incident was at 6:50 p.m.
Paramedics and emergency responders were called to the scene to treat the injured.
The accident involved three separate motor vehicles, a pedestrian, and a cyclist.
The driver of a Jeep Wrangler ran a red stop light at an intersection injuring the involved parties.
The driver of the Jeep was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center for medical treatment, and their injuries were critical. They later succumbed to their injuries and passed.
The other parties sustained minor injuries.
Impairment and reckless driving have been cited for possible reasons for the accident.
The crash and its investigation are still in process, and information will be made known by authorities as it continues.
