Nye County, NV – Motor Vehicle Crash Takes Life Of John Craft On US-95

Nye County, NV (May 6, 2019) – Nevada Highway Patrol has confirmed that an accident took the life of a man who was driving a vintage replica Model A car on Highway 95 near Mercury Hwy in Las Vegas. The crash took place on Thursday, May 2nd. The accident occurred just before noon.

The 85-year-old-man, John Craft, was traveling northbound on the roadway while towing a large trailer. After slowing down, a minivan rear-ended Craft’s 1980s Shay Roadster, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle and steer into a dirt embankment.

Paramedics and officials were on the scene to render aid to the victim. Craft was declared deceased at the scene at 11:15 a.m. by authorities.
