UPDATE: The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have reported that a woman who was involved in a Spring Valley area crash on June 14th has died. Sonia Alegre-Pinedo De Cordova, 63, was involved in the accident which occurred just before 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of West Flamingo Road and South Lindell Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman exited a bus and as she was crossing the street outside of the crosswalk, she was struck by a 2016 Mazda 3 driven by an 18-year old woman. Alegre-Pinedo De Cordova sustained critical injuries to her head was taken to the hospital, where she later passed away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her death marks the 63rd fatality in Metro\u2019s jurisdiction this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
