Las Vegas, NV – Cyclist Killed In Car Accident on Pecos Road Near Tropicana Ave
Las Vegas, NV (April 18, 2019) – A cyclist was hit by a vehicle late Thursday evening. Authorities reported that the accident happened while the cyclist was crossing at Pecos Road, just south of Tropicana Avenue.
The driver was traveling north on Pecos when it struck the cyclist around 10:00 p.m. Officials say that the cyclist was crossing on a marked crosswalk when the crash occurred. The identity of the victim has not yet been released by authorities.
The driver has been identified as a 19-year-old woman. The driver did not show signs of impairment at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation, and more information is likely to be revealed as it continues.
