Las Vegas, NV – Motorcyclist Killed On Lake Mead Blvd & Torrey Pines Dr
Las Vegas, NV (April 22, 2019) – A man on a motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle on Lake Mead Blvd near Torrey Pines Dr, according to officials. The crash happened on Sunday, April 21, in the early evening hours. at around 6:15 p.m.
Officials reported that the motorcyclist was speeding down the roadway when a car headed west turned out onto Lirio Way. The crash occurred at approximately 6:15 pm.
The rider of the motorcycle was identified only as a 41-year-old Las Vegas resident. He was transported to University Medical Center for medical treatment of severe injuries. Sadly, the victim’s injuries were too severe and he was pronounced dead soon after being taken to the hospital facility.
The full identity of the man who died in this accident has not been made public by authorities at this time.
The driver of the other vehicle was a 21-year-old male who is also a resident of Las Vegas. He only sustained minor injuries and was remained at the scene during the accident. He did not show any signs of impairment.
The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
