Reno, NV – Fatal Motorcycle Crash at McCarran Blvd And Moraine Way
Reno, NV (May 7, 2019) – Sources have confirmed that a fatal crash took the life of a motorcyclist at North McCarran Blvd near Moraine Way. Authorities state the accident occurred on Monday, May 6th. The approximate time of the incident was in the evening at 9:30 p.m.
The operator of the motorcycle, a stolen dirt bike, was traveling southbound on N. Virginia St. The bike did not have on headlights of any kind.
A pickup truck traveling north turned onto the roadway, causing the motorcyclist to collide with the vehicle.
The operator of the dirt bike was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The driver of the pickup was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Later on, officials claim that another motorcyclist collided with the accident, sustaining injuries.
The case into the accident is still ongoing, and more information will be made public as it continues.
