Our thoughts are with the victim during the healing process, and we hope for their quick and full recovery.

Pedestrian Accidents In Nevada

Although not as common as multiple vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents can be just as fatal, if not more. As a pedestrian, there is a need to be extra vigilant near busy roads, even when one has the right of way. Drivers can be careless and distracted, and it only takes one second of lost focus to cause a serious injury or even death.

In 2018, over 300 deaths were reported on Nevada roadways, a 6.4{88e349d5decac9e367401df59c8a5daea38c8be20f3485723a835d333268b5d9} increase from 2017. The numbers of overall deaths on roads in the United States has decreased, but as demonstrated above, that does not mean accidents have stopped happening.
