Las Vegas, NV – UPDATE: Woman Dies From July 14 Crash At W. Flamingo Rd. & S. Lindell Rd.

Las Vegas, Nevada (July 22, 2019)

UPDATE: The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have reported that a woman who was involved in a Spring Valley area crash on June 14th has died. Sonia Alegre-Pinedo De Cordova, 63, was involved in the accident which occurred just before 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of West Flamingo Road and South Lindell Road.

The woman exited a bus and as she was crossing the street outside of the crosswalk, she was struck by a 2016 Mazda 3 driven by an 18-year old woman. Alegre-Pinedo De Cordova sustained critical injuries to her head was taken to the hospital, where she later passed away.

Her death marks the 63rd fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
