Sunrise Manor, NV- UPDATE- Car ID’d in Fatal Crash at Charleston Blvd. Near Nellis Blvd.
Sunrise Manor, Nevada (April 26, 2019) – UPDATE The police have confirmed the identification of the car that was involved in a deadly hit-and-run earlier this month. On April 3, a car hit a 48-year old woman crossing the street with her grandchild. The hit-and-run incident happened on Charleston Boulevard, near Nellis Boulevard.
The car hit the women at approximately 11:30 p.m. At the time, the make of the car was unknown.
Metro Police are now looking for 2011 to 2013 white Toyota Corolla S. The car should exhibit some front-end damage.
Jacqueline Dillion and her grandchild, age 7, were crossing Charleston Blvd. Wednesday night. The Toyota Corolla was heading east when it fatally struck the woman. According to police, Dillon’s grandchild made it safely across the street without injury.
After striking the woman, the car did not stop or slow down to check on the victim.
