Clark County, NV -UPDATE: Victim Identified in Fatal Hit & Run Accident At El Capitan Way
Clark County, NV (May 7, 2019) – Authorities have confirmed the identity of a pedestrian who lost their life after a fatal hit-and-run accident on Monday, May 6th. The time of the accident was at exactly 5 a.m., and officials state that it took place at the intersection of El Capitan Way and Horse Dr.
The pedestrian involved was 65-year-old Felix McNair Jr. He was walking within a marked crosswalk when he was struck by the truck.
McNair was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Bian Alton, was headed north on El Capitan when he struck the pedestrian, and he failed to remain at the scene of the accident and was later arrested by officials due to his failure to stop after the crash.
