Las Vegas, Nevada (June 30, 2019)
Sources report that a major multi-vehicle accident occurred in the north valley which resulted in the injuries of at least 9 individuals.
The accident took place on Saturday afternoon around 1:00 p.m. The LVPD, as well as Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, were on the scene to provide aid to the injured parties. A heavy rescue unit was needed to remove a victim trapped inside a vehicle.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Tonopah Drive. Four of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver that was responsible for the crash, however, is in critical condition according to police.
The details into the cause of the crash are still ongoing. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.
