Las Vegas, NV (April 18, 2019) – Authorities claim that crash scene which caught on fire, resulted in injuries of a passenger who thankfully was able to escape the burning vehicle.
Officials arrived at the scene in the late afternoon, around 4:10 p.m. The accident occurred at the intersection of Sunset Road and Decatur Boulevard on Tuesday, April 16.
The accident involved a car and a small truck which struck the vehicle, resulting in the car catching on fire.
Officials state that the driver of the car was transported to a medical facility and hospitalized for their injuries. The driver of the pickup truck did not sustain any damage in the collision.
The accident resulted in the closure of Sunset Rd, between Decatur Blvd and Arville St.
The investigation is still ongoing, and there is no other information at this time.
