Fernley, NV – UPDATE Identity Of Man Killed in Fernley Crash on US-50 Made Public

Fernley, NV (April 23, 2019) – Authorities have released the identity of the man who was killed in a crash in Fernley. The crash in question occurred in the late afternoon of Friday, April 19, and the event took place at 4:09 p.m.

The accident took place when the man was driving a Cadillac SUV north on Desert Rose near the intersection with Highway 50. The driver of a Dodge sedan was traveling east on US-50 when the Cadillac struck the dodge on the roadway.

The driver of the dodge was 67-year-old Hector Luis Reyes of Fallon, who later died of his sustained injuries at the hospital he was transported to for care.

Officials are actively seeking out details into the crash.

The investigation into the case is still underway, and more information will be released as it continues.
