Reno, Nevada – Motorcycle Crash On Rio Poco Road Ends In Fatality

Reno, NV (June 20, 2019)

A fatal crash between a motorcyclist and a pickup truck occurred just before 5:30 pm on the night of Wednesday, June 20th, leaving the driver of the motorcycle dead. Reno police were forced to close Eastbound McCarran Boulevard from Longley Lane to Rio Poco Road to investigate the accident.

The seventy-two year old driver was heading north on Rio Poco Road when he turned and was struck by the pick up. Local police concluded that neither driver was impaired and speed was not a factor in the crash.

Reno Police Department cleared Eastbound McCarran Boulevard for driving just after 6:30 pm Wednesday night.
