Las Vegas, NV – Woman Hospitalized After Fire At Shop On E. Tropicana Rd.

Las Vegas, Nevada (June 25, 2019)

Sources are reporting that a woman was severely burned in a two-alarm fire in a strip mall located in central Las Vegas. The incident occurred on Monday, June 24th, around 9:22 p.m.

The Clark County Fire Department was called to the scene, where the fire was reported to have begun at a beauty supply store. The location of that store was reported to be at East Tropicana Road, near Pecos Road.

It took only minutes for the CCFD to put out the flames and were successful in diminishing fire around 9:48 p.m., according to Assistant Fire Chief Troy Tuke.

The victim suffered burns on her extremities and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The fire caused additional damages to two other business in close proximity.

The details as to the severity of the damages and the cause of the fire are still under investigation
