Tonopah, NV – UPDATE: Details Of Fatal Crash On US-95 At Esmeralda Revealed

Tonopah, Nevada (June 26, 2019)

UPDATE: The Nevada Highway Patrol has issued a statement confirming details regarding the fatal accident that occurred on US-95 at Esmerelda County mile marker 98, which resulted in one death and one injury on Tuesday night.

The injured party was flown to a hospital. While the injuries were reported to be major, it is said that this individual is looking like they will recover.

According to investigators, one driver tried to pass another and ended up hitting an oncoming car head-on. There were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time. The driver of the car being passed was not one of the parties involved in the incident.

The identities of the victims have not been released.
