Stead, NV- Plane Crash Sends 3 To The Hospital At Reno Stead Airport
Stead, NV (August 27, 2019)
A plane crash occurred just before the runway outside of the Reno Stead Airport on Monday evening. According to Reno Fire, the plane did not catch flames. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport indicated that the plane was traveling east from The Playa.
The three individuals who were all onboard were transported to the Reno Hosptial for treatment of their injuries. Two of the three had only minor injuries but the third individual had critical injuries.
The FAA is investigating and while they assess the crash, Bravo Avenue will be significantly limited through Tuesday.
It has been reported that the Mooney M20C single-engine plane was registered out of Woodland Park, Colorado.
