Las Vegas, NV-UPDATE-Woman Injured in Crash on Hualapai Way Succumbs To Injuries
Las Vegas, Nevada (June 18, 2019)
UPDATE- A crash that occurred in western Las Vegas resulted in Katana Courtney Overby, 21, sustaining blunt force trauma. The crash occurred on June 9th at Hualapai Way and Twain Avenue.
According to police, the victim was transported to University Medical Center, where she eventually passed away from her injuries.
Overby was in a 2015 Hyundai Elantra along with two others around 4 p.m. when the crash occurred. The Elantra was making a U-turn at Hualapai when a 2006 Ford Mustang hit them in the passenger side. The Mustang was driven by a 23-year-old male.
All parties involved in the accident were taken to the hospital as a result. The other Hyundai passenger suffered serious injuries. Only minor injuries were reported for both the drivers of each of the cars.
Sources have indicated that there was no sign of impairment for either of the drivers.
